The original roof started leaking about 40 years ago so the farmer covered the whole thing in bitumen which had lasted until then.

We stripped and re-covered all upper + lower elevations, fitted new soffits, fascias + gutters and fitted new lead valleys and re-flashed 3 x chimneys.

A few repairs were needed, including 2 new hand made trusses and hipped roof to a lower section, but generally the roof was in very good condition considering it’s age.

This roof was completed using natural Spanish slate and clay ridge tiles.
